Tristan was amazed at how things happened so fast, one minute was wanting to know what was happening, and the next an explosion occurs and he's phased through and into a car. Tristan grined as he started to say something. "So this is the life of mutants at the institute, hey I could get use to this. I've always wanted to live in the fast lane." He chuckled at his little joke. As if it was just getting to him, the words of Kai telling him that he needed to explain things entered his ears. "Hold up what?" He turned to Kai with a confused look on his face. "It seems you do as well, running away and only leaving a note. If you would have come and told me where you were going or what you were planning on doing, then I would not have told mom that I was moving out and then went to look for you and I would still be eating her home cooked meals." Of course Tristan left out the part about him telling the family about his mutant powers. He didn't want Kai to know, not yet at lease. He hoped that the teacher wouldn't blab about it eitheir.

Casino drew back, waving his hand lazily for his men to go on. He was the boss, he did not fight. He smiled, did this man really think he could take on his six best single handly?
A card came flying through the air and everything went up in smoke. His eyes darkened as he shielded as much of the building as he could, but mostly himself.
He glared at the man with the bo staff. His men were down and he wasn't going to waste time with a fight that would draw the Sentinals here.
"Take her. I'll get her back, her mind belongs to me."
He strode back into his strip club that was now in chaos.

"Merci beaucoup monsieur." Bowing dramatically, Remy smiled as he walked backwards towards the car. The sentinels had begun to gather, of course, but it was Remy they wanted, not anyone else. Facing the car, Remy waved them off. "Go, I catch up in a bit. Still gotta do a couple t'ings here." Like get the robots off his ass. A second charged card sailed through the air, landing at the feet of the small group of robots, exploding as it made contact with the asphalt road. It was enough of a charge to do some major damage to not just the robots, but the street as well, leaving Jubilee limited on driving space. A few more well-placed cards and throwing spikes would do it, leaving Remy home free to head back to the institute in peace.

Kenta leaned back, leaning his head against the chair behind him and closed his eyes. This aint happening... he thought. He hated sentinels. They were big, man-made and ugly. They were cold, and had no life in them. And they could kill you.
Annoyed he turned and leaned out the window as Jubilee started to drive, and managed to shout, just before they moved to far. "You said no powers!"
"We best not be getting killed..." Kenta said. He leaned forward and then back again, shuffling in his seat, turning around to look back at the sentinels behind him, gathering around where he assumed Gambit to be. He became rather more fidgety when he was nervous. And he fidgeted normally anyway.

"Sentinels!" cried Kai, the memory of his registration coming up in his mind's eye. His face paled and soon his skin colour was like that of one of his ghosts. His breathing became heavier and he gripped the sides of the seats. Soon, he was hyperventilating. His abilities soon emerged. His invisibility flared up first, making him go in and out of visible sight. Then, on top of that, his phasing erupted. Kai began phasing out of the car but managed to stop this power from going any further. "Jubilee, faster! Anywhere from the Sentinels!"
Kai then began curling into a ball, with his hands on the side of his face, moaning about wanting to make the Sentinels go away. The small mutant by this time was completely oblivious to everyone else. He moaned incessently and then rocked back and forth like a mad person.
One of the Sentinels had noticed the power flare-up inside the car and was going to it.

Once he made sure that Jubilee had taken control of the vehicle and was driving them to safety, Gambit stopped holding back. Two charged cards whizzed through the air, landing fairly close together and blowing the new group of sentinels sky high. They had been incredibly charged, making the hole in the street even bigger, though that wasn't a concern of Remy's. Oddly enough, his biggest concern was making sure to call his bank and stop the check for Casino after all this mess. Once Remy was certain that the sentinels had stopped regrouping so badly, he left them one last calling card before turning to the parking lot of the club.
After browsing through the selection, Remy decided on a sleek black motorcycle. Stealing vehicles weren't really his thing, however that didn't mean Remy couldn't do it, he could steal anything. Using his powers to speed up the process, as he had already been 'caught' using them anyway, Remy smiled to himself when he heard the engine start up. Waving goodbye to the terrified onlookers, Remy sped off into the darkness, taking the back way home. Speeding in and out of traffic, ducking through alleyways, Remy had the upper-hand when it came to getting back to the mansion first. That, and Jubilee was a horrible driver. On the other side, he was oblivious to the fact that they had a sentinel problem as well, which was likely to slow anyone down. The robots really were annoying.
And so Gambit waited at the front steps of the mansion, leaning against one of the colossal white columns that supported the front facade. Exhaling smoke from the lit cigarette in his hand, Remy had already checked the garage to ensure that they weren't back yet.

Tristan watched as many things unfolded, the car zoomed forward making him jolt back against a seat and then there were suddenly sentinels in the area and his brother going crazy. Tristan looked back and saw a huge explosion, which rocked the car a little. He sighed then ruffled his little brother's hair. "It'll be all right bro, just calm down. Jub here will get us the the institute in no time." The car jumped a little as Jubilee had hit something. He looked back at his brother. "Assuming she can drive that is.."

Kenta leaned out the window, looking back at the robot, flying above and chasing. As the car turned, he had to hold onto the door to stop himself falling out onto the road. Ghost was panicking, phasing in and out of visibility while Tristan half heartedly tried to calm him down.
Jubilee swerved in and out, dodging the few cars on the late evening roads. Kenta watched. The sentinel was faster than them, and would catch up soon, telling its friends where they were. He couldn't fight it himself... what can plants do against metal. Jubilee was busy driving, Kai was panicking, and he had no idea what powers Kai's brother had, or if he even had any. We have to lose him... Kenta thought.
Kenta had an Idea. He smiled slightly and started rummaging though his pockets, looking for something. "Yes!" Kenta said, finding a small pull-string pouch in his pocket. Opening it he let the contents fly out the window, something that looked like dust that got blown around by the wind.
Kenta concentrated for a moment. The dust started to change, growing into small shrubs in the air, expanding into bushes. They grew into each other, their branches wrapping around, locking them selves together into a single plant, the ones touching the ground holding up the ones above to create a wall that rose high above the road, blocking Kenta's view of the sentinel.
"Jubilee turn right now!" Kenta shouted. He wont see us turn... Hopefully... Kenta thought.
"Kai. You gotta calm down now!" Kenta said turning.

Still freaking out Kai ignored the help that he recieved from Tristan and Kenta. Jubilee swerved to the right and looked at the left side mirror to see shrubs growing and covering the car. Jubilee nodded approvingly. Kai's moaning and rocking grew even more violent. This wasn't looking for the boy. His mind hugely scarred by the horrific encounter of the Sentinel, Kai was only focussed on that memory.
He rocked so violently that he eventually knocked himself on the window, ending the panic attack.

Tristan looked at Kenta after Kai had knocked himself out. "Well at least he is calm now. Oh and nice move with the bushes, a little weird but It'll do." Jubilee turned onto the road of the mansion and Tristan sighed and layed back. "Well, somebody has to take the insane kid to the infirmary." He half heatedly laughed and watched as Jubilee parked the car in the garage and looked back at him. "What? I was going to take him, it was just a joke." Tristan got out and went around to pick up his litte brother. He then carried him toward the infimrary. As he made his way into the mansion and toward the infirmary, he jokily stated. "This is so going in his baby book, even though he isn't a baby." He chuckled to himself as they continued to make their way toward the infirmary.

The sound of Jubilee's driving was unmistakable as tires screeched when she took the turn into the driveway too fast, or hit the brake too hard. It was a wonder that her car still drove for her. Pushing himself off the column he had been leaning against, tossing the charged cigarette butt into the air, listening as it exploded into nothingness. Meeting the teenagers in the garage, Remy's first observation was the unconscious young man who had started this whole thing. "An' dey wonder why I don' volunteer t' teach students t' drive."
Speaking more to himself then anyone else, Remy easily picked up Orca, pushing a strand of hair out of her face. Out cold now, which was probably a good thing, considering the drive home. "Come on now, we take 'em t' de infirmary, den ya go t' ya rooms an' don' speak o' dis 'gain." Leading the way to the infirmary, Remy went through the series of fingerprint and retina scans that allowed one to get to the lower levels. Stepping into the infirmary, Remy was very surprised to see it vacant of Beast, though figured that the furball had actually found a life. Placing the young girl on one of the metal tables, Remy turned to Tristan. "Put him down, then get upstairs."
